The Class of 2023 is selling mugs! We have a mug for cozy days at home and a travel mug for those who are on the go! Choose one of four designs to show of your Husky Pride. Orders can be placed in the main office, rooms B2, A11 or A20

Open swims are Monday through Thursday. Bus leaves at 3:00 for Allen, practice 4-5, bus returns by 5:30. Any questions, see Mrs. Mondschein.

The class of 2022 are selling cake pops once again. Pops are $2 apiece and can be ordered from any class of 2022 member or with Ms. Poole or Mr. Shumate in F1.

Room A10 is selling Husky Headbands for $8. There are 5 different patterns to choose from and they look great on everyone! Order yours in A10. Money and orders are due by Thursday, November 21. Headbands will arrive 2 weeks after that. Headbands are not for school use, but would be great for the walk to school, sports events, and everyone who wants to show off their Husky Pride.
Huskie Hawt Steppahs popcorn fundraiser ends on Friday. Please place your orders and payments by Friday November 15th. Orders will be delivered on Friday November 22nd. Thanks so much for your support!!

Did you know that Bloomsburg University now guarantees admission and guarantees scholarships for ASD students who meet certain requirements? Any senior applying to Bloomsburg should plan on attending a dinner for you and your parents here in Allentown on Wednesday, November 20. A field trip is also scheduled for Dec. 4. Visit the College & Career Center for permission slips.

Elect students join us in the husky center every Wednesday during your lunch period. Let's meet for some learning and fun.
Attention Juniors: The Class of 2021 meets every Tuesday after school in Room A-23. We hope to see you there!

The Gay-Straight Alliance will hold its next meeting on Friday, November 15, at 2:45 p.m. in Room A-13. Please see officers James Cortes, Melody Bloom, N'dia Escobales, or Jewel Lopez with questions. Everyone is welcome!

Dieruff Swim Team will be leaving for Allen at 3:15 Monday through Friday the week of 11/18. The bus will be retuning by 6:25. Any questions see Mrs. Mondschein.

The Louis E. Dieruff High School is one of three high schools located in the city of Allentown. 
The richness of The Allentown School District's diversity is strengthened by its central role in educating our students for America's future through academic excellence and celebrating the culturally responsive, athletic and artistic range of talent in the schools. ASD students originate from 51 countries and speak 26 languages. There are twenty-five academic buildings throughout the City. 

During the 2016-2017 school year, the district enrolled 16,628 students across 15 Elementary & Early Childhood Centers (7,976), 4 Middle Schools (3,421) and 3 High Schools (5,231).  The Allentown School District has 2,429 personnel.

89.1% of our families are denoted as Low Income, and 100% receive Free/Reduced Lunch.  ASD is the third largest urban school system out of 500 Districts in the Commonwealth and serves a community with a poverty rate of 38.64% of the City's population. (2013 Census).
