Class of 2018 Sends Three to Princeton University

Celebrating College Signing Day, Dieruff High School extends sincere congratulations to Sinar Bitar, Yanar Bitar and Claudia Rabih who committed to Princeton University after receiving acceptance letters through Early Admission.

Princeton University received approximately 5,402 Early Action applications.  Of these 5,402 applicants, 799 students were offered admission for the fall of 2018.  Eleven percent of the 799 accepted students were international students, meaning 700 students from the United States were accepted.  This averages to 14 students accepted per state.  In Pennsylvania, Dieruff High School composed 20% of those 14 accepted students, on average.  Moreover, the Huskies boasted two Princeton acceptances from their Class of 2016.  Five alumni from Dieruff High School will be walking the campus as Princeton students come fall of 2018 – two juniors and three freshmen.

All three students were also recipients of the Danny Khalouf Memorial Scholarship.

A number of students were extended Early Admission acceptances from Lehigh University including Kevin Do, Raymond To, Gianna Jarrah, Roger Paguay, and Ryan Antar.  Dieruff High School typically boasts many Lehigh acceptances each year, and we are proud to continue this honored privilege and tradition with these Class of 2022 Mountain Hawks.
