Student Expectations

To ensure success in our virtual environment, all students and families agree to the following program standards:

  • Attendance & Time Commitment: Students are required to log a minimum of three hours of active, documented school work within the Learning Management System (LMS) daily. Simply logging in is not sufficient; attendance credit is based on documented progress and active engagement with academic material.
  • Active Communication: Students and parents must attend all scheduled meetings, conferences, and mandatory check-ins required by the program or individual teachers. This includes responding promptly to teacher outreach and attending scheduled biweekly check-in calls.
  • Enrollment Commitment: Enrollment is a commitment for the entire semester. Transfers back to a traditional homeschool environment mid-semester are only considered on a case-by-case basis and require multiple administrative approvals.
  • Academic Integrity: All work must be completed independently unless collaboration is explicitly authorized. Using AI to generate or draft work is prohibited, and any confirmed instance of plagiarism or cheating may result in immediate dismissal from the program.
  • Technical & Environmental Readiness: Families are responsible for providing a stable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions. Students must use a functional computer or laptop rather than a mobile phone. Please reach out to your teacher if you need a chromebook or hotspot.
  • Satisfactory Progress: Students must maintain passing grades. Failing two or more courses at the midpoint of the semester will trigger an academic intervention plan and may lead to dismissal from the program.
